Abstract

The article presents a study on the digital competencies of higher education faculty members at an institution in Campo Mourão, Brazil. Based on the European DigCompEdu framework, the authors conducted a quantitative survey with 63 professors, analyzing proficiency levels in areas such as digital technologies, teaching-learning, and assessment. The findings indicate that most faculty members are at the initial stages of digital maturity (A2: Explorer and B1: Integrator). Despite efforts to integrate technological tools, challenges remain in diversifying practices and ensuring digital security. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous training and collaborative approaches to foster innovation in education.
