Desempenho acadêmico e moradia estudantil: variáveis que afetam estudantes da Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados

The study identifies the variables that affect the performance of residents in the Federal University of Grande Dourados student housing and the comparison of the performance of residents with non-residents. The approach was quantitative with descriptive analysis, linear regression and Student's t-test of socioeconomic variables and the performance index of 356 students. The performance of residents can be influenced by the variables gender, marital status, type of high school, study period, number of people with income in the family, type of entry and year of entry into university. Residents performed less well than non-residents, and full-time residents performed better than part-time residents.
